it's healthy to cry

the word 'cry' always go to the girls.
the mentality in our culture and society is that the people who always cry are girls.
it is true that women have more emotional and easily touched. but, there were some women that are 'stone-hearted' and some men that are emotional.

crying is actually a good thing. it is healthy to cry and not wrong at all.
Randolph Cornelius said that crying is important to release all the psychological tension. if it wasn't release, it will find an outlet in other ways such as affecting the person's body and possibly can cause disease.

when we feeling unease in our heart, we should cry to let go all the unease. after crying, we feel a lot better and feel very relief.

people usually cry when they feel sad, and having psychological tension. but, there also some people who cry when they feel very angry or mad about something. after cried, their anger gone. this way of relieving anger feeling can prevent us from making irrational action.

now let's talk about the scientific facts about cry and tears.

there are three types of tears which are basal tears, reflex/infant tears and emotional tears. basal tears are continuous and lubricate our eyes. reflex/infant tears are when we chop onions or receive a blow to the eye. emotional tears are psychologically caused tears.
according to experimental evidence, emotional tears contain 24% more protein concentration than irritant tears. Frey et al proposed that tears performed a sort of physical catharsis, expelling toxins from the body. following a period of sympathetic nervous system hyperactivity, crying is a part of parasympathetic rebound effect in which tears serve to discharge arousal.

it is widespread in western world that crying is therapeutic and the failure to cry is a danger to our health.

so, think yourself you wanna cry or just keep your tension until it burst.

*sorry lah post aku kali ni terlalu saintifik sangat. aku terasa nak cakap sal nangis cuz ada kawan aku yang cakap die ase cam nak nangis. aku memang nangis untuk release segala perasaan aku. aku memang mengakui hakikat bahawa apabila kita mengangis, kite akan berasa lebih lega dan fresh kembali. nangislah sepuas hati anda jika anda rasa cam nak nangis sekarang.*
